Hockey starts at a young age. If you want your son or daughter, or you, to play hockey, you should start at a young age. I started at around five. Right now I have been playing for about nine years and I am one of the better kids in my division. But that also means that you can't just pick up hockey at an older age like ten and above. You can, but you would probably be the worst kid there. I would advise that you do skating lessons for your kids or yourself at a young age because skating is one of the number one skills that you need to know.
